We were approached to build a platform where creators would be able to sell merchandise online at 0 cost. The challenges included building a custom ecommerce web application that would be scalable and a flexible apparel customisation plugin.
What went into
building the platform
We built the entire platform using Vue js and Nuxt framework. We designed a custom module to provide the feature of customising apparels according to preferences to the users. This was done in order to support various sizes that would help xioki to have 0 dependencies in the backend to print tshirts.
